    An open source conference where almost no one knows Ubuntu
    I recently started working with a non-profit that has deployed Ubuntu machines to 6 local charter schools and the two facts that immediately struck me:

    1. The vast majority of teachers don't care…

    If the rumored $300 sticker price is correct, I know what my birthday present is going to be ... especially if they really do come in all the regular Insprion colors - PINK!!! :D

    the best words on the olpc state. . .
    That was a loooong read, but really interesting. I don't have much to say about it all save that I'm such a lazy person that I imagine I'll never move to a non-MS OS.

    I respect Ubuntu. But after long pain because of Ubuntu 6.04, 6.10, 7.04 and 7.10 I am afraid of 8.04
